Munich has a lot of attractions which visitors like to see; the Pinakotheks, the English Garden and many other sights.
But when it comes to original carpets, Teppichhaus Sami at Maximiliansplatz is the most important address. Everybody returns to the premises in order to make their homes even more beautiful and comfortable.
The cradle of institution “Teppichhaus Sami” could be found in today’s luxury hotel “Mandarin Oriental” in Munich. In the past the famous Antique House with numerous renowned antique shops was located there. At that time the gallery Sami was the only shop which offered only exquisite Persian carpets.
Today, over 40 years later the small but fine gallery became a big carpet shop on two floors. The choice of rugs has been multiplied but the motto of the owner family remained the same:
